Syria Tourist Visa

Tourists can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport in Damascus or from Syrian embassies or consulates abroad. The visa processing time is usually three to seven days. Tourists must have a valid passport with at least six-month validity remaining and at least one blank visa page. Required documents include a completed visa application form, a valid passport-sized photograph, a copy of the passport, a copy of the airline ticket, proof of accommodation in Syria, and travel insurance. Depending on the purpose of visit, additional documents may be required. Tourists who are nationals of certain countries may be required to obtain a visa before leaving their home country.
