France Work Visa

France offers a variety of work visas for individuals who wish to work in the country. Generally, there are two types of work visas available: The Long-Stay Visa and the Short-Stay Visa. The Long Stay is for those who wish to stay for over 3 months. This type of visa is required for anyone who wishes to work as an employee, self-employed or independent worker. The Short-Stay is for those who wish to stay in France for up to 90 days for purposes such as business, tourism, or study. Both types of work visas require the applicant to have a valid passport, health insurance, and proof of sufficient funds. Additionally, a work permit is usually required from the employer.
