Visa Types
Russia Exit visa
Russia requires citizens of certain countries to obtain an exit visa in order to leave the country. This includes citizens of former Soviet Republics as well as those who have been granted temporary or permanent residency in Russia. An exit visa is obtained from the Federal Migration Service or the passport and visa department of the local police station. The application must include valid identification, a passport or travel document, a valid visa, a residence permit, proof of employment or education, and other documents. After submitting all of the necessary documents, applicants may have to attend an interview before the visa is issued. Once issued, the visa must be in the passport, and the holder must leave the country within the specified time frame.
