United States Employer-sponsored visas

This visa provides a pathway to permanent residency for foreign workers and their dependents. Employer-sponsored visas are available for a variety of occupations, including specialty occupations such as engineers, computer programmers, and medical professionals. Employers must demonstrate that they are unable to find qualified U.S. workers and that the foreign worker will not displace U.S. workers. Employers must also provide certain benefits to the foreign worker, such as health insurance and a minimum wage.
