United States Exchange visitor visa

The United States Exchange Visitor Visa is a type of visa that allows foreign nationals to enter the United States to participate in an approved Exchange Visitor Program. Exchange Visitor Programs are sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and are designed to promote cultural exchange between the United States and other countries. Exchange visitors may come to the United States to take part in a short-term educational or professional program, such as a language course, a job training program, or a teaching assignment. Exchange visitors are expected to return to their home countries after their program has ended.
